BSA TROOP 16, A BOY LED TROOP

Troop 16 in Franklin, Tennessee is part of the Natchez Trace District, Middle Tennessee Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Troop 16 was chartered in 1997, and is under the leadership of Scoutmaster Mr. Richard Cole.

Troop 16 is an active troop, with scouts of all ranks, Scout through Eagle, from Franklin, Thompson's Station, College Grove, Bethesda, Spring Hill - all parts of Williamson County, Tennessee.

Our weekly troop meetings are held most Tuesday nights at 6:30 at the historic site of Epworth United Methodist Church (our charter organization) on Arno Road in Franklin.

We camp year round and plan at least one outing each month. These outings include activies such as backpacking, climbing, caving, and canoeing. In addition we attend the council wide summer and winter camps as well as a yearly high adventure outing.

There are monthly Patrol Leader Council (PLC) meetings and our Troop Committee meets monthly.
